Today, March 8th, marks the first annual "What's on Your MyPlate?" Day. The goal of today is to heighten public awareness of the importance of choosing foods for a healthy meal.
We here at ShopWell are committed to promoting a diet that reflects the latest recommendations in the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and highlighting the message behind the new MyPlate food icon.
As Community Partners within the USDA Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion Nutrition Communicators Network, we join nearly 6,000 USDA partners in spreading this message.
