Let’s be honest, the Super Bowl is mostly about commercials, friends, and good food, right? There are definitely some hardcore football fans who want to watch the game but most people are interested in everything else. By some estimates the average person eats almost 2400 calories over the course of the game. (Check out the infographic for how long you would have to exercise to burn to work off all those calories). That doesn’t even include the other meals you ate that day … that is a lot of calories! Be a mindful eater during the game to calories eaten in check and surround yourself with tasty lower calorie choices to limit the chances of overeating. Here is a my game plan, menu if you will, of Super Bowl foods. It’s full of classics and new favorites so you have something for everyone.
