Happy Registered Dietitians Day! Chippy Loves RDs

We here at ShopWell want to take a moment to recognize the exceptional work that Registered Dietitians do all around the world getting people healthy and keeping them that way. Thank you for all of the hard work you do each day. We are proud to support such a selfless and dedicated group of professionals!

Want to know more about RDs?

Registered Dietitians are experts in food and nutrition. In order to become a Registered Dietitian (RD), a practitioner must earn a bachelor's degree from an institution accredited by the American Dietetic Association's Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education, completing a supervised and accredited practice program at a healthcare facility, passing a national examination, and completing continuing-education requirements to maintain that registration. And those are just the basic requirements! Further, over 50 percent of RDs also have a master's degree or Ph.D., and many of them also complete specialized education on topics like diabetes or pediatric nutrition. read more
